The scrap tire recycling line consists of several types of heavy-duty equipment. Its function is to separate rubber, steel wire and fiber materials from car tires, truck tires and OTR tires fully automatically. The line operates at room temperature without any chemical additives and does not cause secondary pollution to the environment.
The tire recycling line can realize tire crushing, steel wire separation, fiber separation, tire granulation and powder making at one time without any chemical additives, and can produce fine rubber powder of 0.12-0.42mm at room temperature, which can effectively deal with waste tires and at the same time, resource recycling and environmental protection coexist.

As a professional tire recycling equipment manufacturer in China, Harvest can provide you with professional solutions, high-quality products, competitive prices and excellent after-sales service.
The main equipment of tire recycling Plant
Tire recycling line is composed of two-shaft shredder, steel wire separator, rubber granulator, rubber mill, electrical control system and other major individual machines.
Engineering tires, truck tires, car tires and other different kinds of tires are crushed by shear type twin shaft shredder, and the crushed tire blocks are separated from the steel wire and rubber in the rubber tires by the steel wire separator. The separated rubber blocks continue to be crushed into smaller rubber particles by the rubber granulator.
The granulator is equipped with precisely aligned blades that crush the rubber granules in a uniform chip-cutting process. During this process 99% of the fibers are separated out and the remaining pellets are available for further processing or sold separately.
Granulated rubber, if it needs to be processed, is ground into 30-120mesh rubber powder by a rubber mill from the front-end granulator. The size of the discharge is also adjusted by centrifugal screen to meet the different needs of customers. The mill has a high output and the quality of the fine rubber powder discharged is excellent, which is widely used in road asphalt, recycled rubber and other related applications.
How to Make Money from Waste Tyre?
There are around 300 million vehicles on the road in the U.S. This means a tremendous amount of tires are replaced every year, and everyone from mechanic shops to dealerships to people at their homes need to get rid of them. That’s why there are so many ways to make money recycling used tires. Here are a few ideas and the steps to turn wheels into cash.

- Rubberized concrete for roads – roads with rubber crack 90% less than roads made with normal concrete. Typically lasting 60 – 90 years
- Alternative fuel to coal and oil – cement companies can burn rubber as part of the cement making process or for boiler fuels. Much cleaner burning than oil and coal
- Projects within the civil engineering and construction industry
- Shoes, bags, belts, furniture, flooring
- Asphalt laying – roads, playgrounds, athletic fields and tracks
The Hazards of Used Tires
Scrap tires are internationally recognized as hazardous waste, with strong resistance to heat, machinery and degradation, and will not be eliminated naturally for decades. A large number of waste tires if long-term open-air pile, not only occupy a lot of land, resulting in a waste of land resources, and waste tires after the rain and water, wind and sun, is bound to breed a public hazard.
First, it breeds mosquitoes and infects dengue fever and other diseases;
Second, a large number of piles of used tires are prone to fires and environmental hazards;
Third, waste tires are organic substances, it is impossible to degrade naturally, its bacteria, with a large number of toxic, extensive, and impossible to do a comprehensive quarantine, testing and disinfection sterilization, piling up is bound to cause environmental hazards. The use of retreaded tires is not safe, too many retreaded tires in an accident, not many people buy, safety first. New tires are prone to wear and tear, not to mention retreaded tires.
Benefits of Recycling Tires
Scrap tires are known as black pollution, its recycling and treatment technology has been a worldwide problem, but also the environmental protection of the problem. According to statistics, the world currently has 1.5 billion tires scrapped every year, of which North America accounts for about 400 million, Western Europe accounts for nearly 200 million, Japan 100 million. In the 1990s, the most common practice in countries around the world was to bury or pile up used tires. However, with the rise in land prices, it has become increasingly difficult to acquire land for burial/deposit sites for tires.
On the other hand, the massive accumulation of waste tires is very likely to cause fires and create a second public hazard. With the rapid development of China’s automobile industry, the environmental pressure brought by scrap tires is also increasing.
The average ratio of new and retreaded tires in the world is 10:1, while China is only 26:1. Foreign serious environmental pollution of recycled rubber production enterprises have long been eliminated, while China’s recycled rubber is still the main deep processing products used in waste tires, many enterprises are still in the low level of technology, secondary pollution heavy workshop-type production. Scrap tires scattered among the people, did not form a smooth recycling system, the transaction has not formed a market, recycling difficulties, processing enterprises do not get sufficient tire source.
